RMP Group, a leading textile manufacturer, has taken a significant step toward improving energy efficiency by commissioning a 433 kW rooftop solar power system at its Faridabad manufacturing facility. The company, known for producing millions of meters of woven fabric annually, expects the solar installation to substantially reduce its dependence on conventional grid power.

The rooftop solar project was completed by renewable energy solutions provider Asun Solar and is expected to deliver considerable financial benefits over the coming years. According to project estimates, the installation could lower the facility’s power costs by more than 80%, generating annual savings of approximately ₹6.6 million. The system utilizes advanced N-Type TOPCon solar technology, which is recognized for higher efficiency and improved energy generation performance.
