MNRE Extends Rooftop Solar Subsidy Claim Window for Legacy Projects

India’s rooftop solar sector has received a major administrative boost as the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) extended the deadline to claim Central Financial Assistance (CFA) for eligible legacy applications under the Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Programme Phase II.
Under an amendment issued on August 31, 2026, the deadline has been pushed from December 31, 2025, to November 30, 2026.
