February 26, 2026
Mumbai – Infrastructure engineering company KEC International Ltd has secured new project orders valued at ₹10,020 million (about ₹1,002 crore) across its power transmission and cable business segments, strengthening its domestic and international project pipeline. The company announced that the contracts were awarded in both Indian and overseas markets and are expected to improve execution visibility in the coming months.
A major share of the newly secured work falls under the company’s Transmission and Distribution (T&D) division. The orders include a large composite project in India involving the construction of 220 kV and 132 kV transmission lines, substations, and extra-high-voltage cabling systems. In addition, the company has received an international contract for developing a 400 kV transmission line, further expanding its global power infrastructure portfolio. Supply contracts for transmission towers, hardware equipment and poles in the Americas have also been awarded as part of the latest order intake.
KEC International’s Cables and Conductors business has also secured multiple supply orders covering different types of power cables and conductors for customers in India as well as overseas markets. Company officials stated that these contracts will help diversify the customer base while strengthening the overall order book within the transmission sector.
Following the latest wins, the company’s year-to-date order intake has reached nearly ₹213 billion, reflecting steady demand for power infrastructure and grid expansion projects. Management indicated that the projects were received during the normal course of business and will be executed using the company’s established engineering, manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities.
KEC International, the flagship infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company of the RPG Group, operates across several sectors including power transmission and distribution, civil construction, transportation, renewables, oil and gas pipelines, and cable manufacturing. The firm maintains operations in more than 110 countries, enabling it to undertake large-scale infrastructure projects across global markets.
Industry observers note that the fresh orders are likely to support near-term revenue growth while enabling faster project mobilisation across multiple regions. The company has stated that execution will focus on timely delivery along with adherence to quality and safety standards as infrastructure demand continues to rise worldwide.
