Keltron Invites Bids for 1.5 MW Rooftop Solar Project in West Bengal

Keltron Equipment Complex, a division of the Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd, has issued a tender for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a 1.5 MW rooftop solar photovoltaic power plant at the Kalyani Layer Farm in West Bengal under the West Bengal Livestock Development Corporation. The bid submission deadline is March 5, 2026, with technical proposals to be opened on March 7, 2026.

Interested companies must provide an earnest money deposit of ₹8 lakh and a performance bank guarantee of 5 % of the contract value, plus an additional 10 % guarantee within 10 days of award. The work includes detailed engineering, procurement of equipment, civil and electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive maintenance. It also covers power evacuation infrastructure, energy metering systems, safety installations and necessary approvals.

Eligibility requirements include prior experience in solar project implementation, a positive financial net worth, and being empanelled with Keltron for solar work in West Bengal. The project must be completed within 100 days of the letter of intent, with liquidated damages for any delays.
