Premier Energies and BA Prerna Start New Company to Build Renewable Power Projects
February 11, 2026
Hyderabad/New Delhi – Premier Energies Ltd has partnered with BA Prerna Renewables Pvt Ltd to form a new company aimed at expanding work on large renewable energy construction projects across India, the firms said in official filings. The joint venture, named HeliosAnthos Energies Private Ltd, will focus on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for solar, wind and hybrid energy systems including standalone battery projects.
Under the agreement, Premier Energies will hold 51 % of the equity in the new company, while BA Prerna Renewables will take 49 %, giving both partners a strong foothold in the country’s renewable infrastructure market. HeliosAnthos Energies is expected to offer end-to-end EPC services including land acquisition, grid connectivity, statutory clearances, engineering design, equipment procurement, installation and commissioning of projects.
Company leaders said the collaboration comes at a time when execution risks like securing land and transmission links have become key hurdles for developers and utilities in India’s fast-growing clean energy sector. By combining Premier Energies’ scale and manufacturing experience with BA Prerna’s expertise in project siting and connectivity, the joint venture aims to address these challenges and support faster delivery of renewable installations nationwide.
HeliosAnthos Energies plans to bid for and manage contracts across India for solar power plants, wind farms, standalone battery storage and hybrid solar-wind-battery projects, broadening both companies’ presence in the EPC segment as the demand for renewable energy infrastructure continues to rise.
