SECI Invites Bids For 11.16 MW Rooftop And Ground-Mounted Solar Projects Under RESCO Mode

The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has invited competitive bids from Solar Power Developers (SPDs) to establish 11.159 MW of grid-connected rooftop and ground-mounted solar photovoltaic projects across government organizations and institutions. The projects will be developed under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) mode on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis.

The tender covers 13 government organizations, institutes, and departments across five separate projects:

• Project-1: 9 Regional Passport Office locations (Kozhikode, Mumbai, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, Delhi, Jalandhar, Hyderabad, Cochin, and Goa) with a combined capacity of 559 kW (Ceiling tariff: INR 4.50/kWh).

• Project-2: 9,000 kW project at IIT Kanpur (Ceiling tariff: INR 3.91/kWh).

• Project-3: 400 kW project at National Bal Bhavan, New Delhi (Ceiling tariff: INR 5.00/kWh).

• Project-4: 200 kW project at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Goa (Ceiling tariff: INR 5.00/kWh).

• Project-5: 1,000 kW project at NIT Srinagar (Ceiling tariff: INR 5.15/kWh).
