KPI Green Energy Sets Up KPGC Two to Support Renewable Energy Expansion

News Date September 28, 2026

KPI Green Energy has incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary, KPGC Two Private Limited, registered on September 26, 2026, with an authorised and subscribed capital of ₹1 lakh.

Designed to operate in the renewable-energy sector, the new entity covers electricity generation, energy storage, transmission, and distribution. Although it currently has no turnover and has yet to commence business operations, it follows KPI Green Energy’s strategy of establishing dedicated subsidiaries for clean-energy activities, mirroring the June 2026 incorporation of KPGC One Private Limited.

Such project-specific corporate structures provide developers with dedicated vehicles for project execution, financing, asset management, and organizing investments for large solar, wind, hybrid, and storage portfolios. This move aligns with India’s broader power sector trend toward integrated systems—incorporating battery energy storage systems (BESS) and grid infrastructure to support power-system flexibility and grid balancing amid growing variable renewable generation.
