Senvion India Secures 54.6 MW Wind Order from Prozeal Green in Gujarat
October 28, 2026
Senvion India has secured a 54.6 MW wind energy order from Prozeal Green Private Limited for a commercial and industrial (C&I) renewable energy project in Gujarat. The project will deploy 13 Senvion 4.2M160 wind turbine generators, uprated to 4.4 MW each, supporting the growing demand for renewable power among industrial and commercial consumers.
The project will use turbines with a 160-metre rotor and a hub height of 140 metres. Built on Senvion’s modular 4XM platform, the technology is designed to support deployment across different site conditions and optimise energy generation in Indian wind regimes.
The order includes turbine supply, installation and operations and maintenance services for up to 25 years. Senvion reported that the first turbine had already been installed earlier in October 2026, with deliveries and project execution progressing as scheduled.
Wind projects serving commercial and industrial consumers can help businesses diversify their electricity supply and support their decarbonisation goals. For energy-intensive companies, renewable procurement can form part of a wider strategy to manage electricity costs, reduce exposure to conventional power and meet sustainability commitments.
The Gujarat project reflects the role of renewable energy developers and technology providers in expanding clean-power options for industrial consumers.
The turbines will be supported by Senvion’s FLEETPRO digital monitoring platform, which enables remote diagnostics, performance insights and proactive maintenance. Combined with the long-term operations and maintenance commitment, these capabilities are intended to support turbine availability and performance throughout the project lifecycle.
The 54.6 MW order highlights several developments in India’s renewable energy market:
- Industrial renewable procurement: C&I consumers remain an important market for new wind projects.
- Higher-capacity turbines: Modern turbine platforms can help developers optimise generation from suitable sites.
- Long-term service models: Operations, maintenance and digital monitoring are central to asset performance.
- Domestic technology capabilities: Local engineering and supply-chain integration can support wind-sector development in India.
Senvion India’s 54.6 MW order from Prozeal Green underlines the continuing role of wind power in India’s commercial and industrial energy transition. As businesses seek more sustainable electricity options, wind technology, long-term maintenance and digital performance monitoring will remain important components of reliable renewable-energy projects.
